Crash Tested Universal Cargo Barrier Head Rest Model
HR" stands for Head Rest, because it attached directly to your car's headrests. This model is smaller and lighter than the standard VarioBarrier, it is designed for use in station wagons, crossovers and smaller SUV's, maximizing the usable space in your cargo area. It is easily installed without any damage or modification to your vehicle.
The HR Variobarrier works with the built-in crash protection engineering of modern-day vehicles, transforming your vehicle's cargo space into a safe transport area for any pet. MIM Safe VarioBarrier HR has been tested & approved by the SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden using Crash Standard ISO 27955 to assure the safety of all vehicle occupants.
Designed to be used with the MIM VarioGate System (sold separately).
Installation Requirements
- 1.75" of space between the top of your seats and bottom of the headrests.
- Headrest supports need to be straight (or close to it), stong curves will not allow the HR Variobarrier to attach properly

4×4 North America, Inc. warranties all MIM Construction and Variocage Products for Three (3) years from date of purchase. To be covered by the warranty, the defect must be an original manufacturing defect. The warranty does not cover any damage, mis-use or modifications by consumers nor does it cover damage from animals, drops, falls or impacts.

Returns
Contact us prior to or immediately after ordering to receive a sizing guarantee. If your crate does not fit your vehicle you are eligible for a full refund. If you choose to not provide us with your vehicle's measurements and information and do not receive this guarantee, we are unable to accept returns. Due to the different temperaments, ages, weights, and health of every dog we cannot guarantee a fit for your dog or accept returns for this reason. Due to the delicate nature of the crate, original packaging is required for return shipment.

Should have made this decision 2 years ago when my dog ate my seat the first time. Now, instead of $400 it is costing me $1400 because he ate it a second time. This is by far, the best barrier I could find in the states. The 4 star is because, I need a straight headrest mount due to the nature of my headrests in a 2018 Nissan Armada. The curved design digs into the upholstered headrests a bit as shown in the pics. I wish they offered a strait mount off the back of the headrest. Other than that, it' s perfect!

Looks and feels very well made. Exception is the lack of being able to tighten the knobs enough to hold the barrier in place on the headrest posts. Tightening causes the knobs to come off the nuts inside them which negates their use. Other than being a little loose the barrier appears to be quite effective - though I really don't want to have to find out by getting into an accident. I feel safe and secure with it installed.

This fit perfectly in my Porsche Macan. Super secure and high quality materials! I bought the barrier for a VW ID.4. Assembly took some time. It also took me a couple attempts to get it installed properly (the first time it was too low and affected my ability to see out the back). Now I am satisfied with it and it seems strong enough to withstand the force of a dog or cargo in the event of an accident.
